Bedankt voor je feedback en voor het delen van je zorgen. Fix Piercing Serum wordt voor ons gemaakt door Chi, je kunt in depth vragen over de individuele ingredienten ook aan hen richten. Ongetwijfeld kunnen zij je van een deskundig en wetenschappelijk onderbouwd antwoord voorzien :) Hopelijk neemt dat je zorgen weg.
Over Fix en het ontstaan: Fix is al meer dan 10 jaar geleden ontstaan door en voor piercingliefhebbers. Er zijn diverse nazorgmethoden voor genezende piercings, en elke piercer heeft zo een eigen voorkeur. De algemene consensus is inderdaad dat afblijven (LITHA) en steriele zoutoplossing de voorkeur hebben. Zo ook bij ons, want in 9 van de 10 gevallen zijn ook onze piercings prima genezen met deze methodes. Dit serum wordt inderdaad in veel piercingshop aangeraden, echter is het NIET geschikt voor helende piercings. Het kan hoogstens de huid eromheen verzachten, echter de kans bestaat dat het dan in de wond komt. De ontstekingsremmende werking van deze ingrediënten werken NIET voor een open wond en kunnen juist irriteren en de olie kan bacteriegroei verergeren.
Ik kreeg dit mee na het piercen, maar wil mensen hiervoor waarschuwen. Het beste voor een helende piercing o.b.v. de huidige inzichten uit de medische wetenschap is LITHA (afblijven!) + saline sterile spray.
